Christmas in Kenya!

Nakuru town Christmas Tree - 2009
Christmas is a time of celebration for people all over the world. As you know we work with very under privileged people here in Nakuru. Children don’t look for Santa to come down their chimneys or presents under the tree. They have never had a Christmas tree in their house. They remember the birth of our Savior and consider themselves very blessed if they get a good meal on Christmas day.

The StoneHouse Guardians got together and put on a Coffee night for friends and family. We had popcorn, kahawa (coffee) and a movie, ‘Scrooge’. They really enjoyed the night and loved the movie. It was like being at an old fashioned drive in. The message of repentance and how love can change a life went deep into their hearts.

Thanks to the generous donation of a projector
we were able to show the movie.
Everyone is ready.

Popcorn for everyone!
A 'pot' of coffee.
Enjoying the movie!
We would like to have a Christmas Dinner served at StoneHouse Fellowship Hall. We plan to do this on December 22. We hope to brighten their smiles this year and are hoping you will help us make that happen by donating a financial gift so we can buy food to cook, decorations, and maybe even small gifts for the children.

Cookout with our fellow missionary friends....

...Inspired us to do the same for StoneHouse Fellowship.
